About
We started this because we couldn't find a sock that worked.
Comfort-Fresh started with a specific problem: finding daily-wear socks that didn't leave pressure marks, didn't bunch at the toe seam, and didn't fall apart after 20 washes. The "diabetic-friendly" options were medical-looking, uncomfortable in the wrong ways, and almost all made from cheap synthetic blends.
So we spent 18 months testing fabric ratios, knitting patterns, and toe closures with actual wearers. Not mannequins, not models — people who wore them daily and reported back.
Why bamboo
Bamboo is the main reason these socks feel different. The fiber is naturally breathable, moisture-wicking, and resistant to odor — properties cotton doesn't have and polyester fakes poorly.
Why US-made
Some of our socks are knit in Logan, Utah at a specialized sock mill that's been running industrial knitting machines for over 30 years. We chose them because they could produce the hand-linked toe closure at production scale.
Our FDA-listed compression
In 2023 we added FDA-listed compression socks, listed under 21 CFR 880.5780(b) as medical support stockings. Graduated 15–20 mmHg compression in a bamboo-blend fabric that breathes.
Who we are
