What does non-binding actually mean?
Most socks get their grip from a band of elastic sewn into the top. Ours do not have one. The stretch is knitted into the ribbing, so it holds its shape, relaxes back after wear, and does not dig in.
How wide does the top stretch?
Ten inches laid flat, which is twenty inches around the leg. Lay the top flat and stretch it: it opens to 10 inches across, then returns to shape rather than staying stretched out. To check before ordering, measure your calf at its widest point and compare it to the 20-inch figure.
What sizes do you make?
US 9-11, 10-13 and 13-15 across this range. 13-15 is the largest size we knit.
