Bamboo fibre spins soft and moves moisture off the skin instead of holding it, which is why it is the yarn that touches your foot. Nylon does the wear at the heel and toe, and a little spandex lets the ribbing recover its shape.

Fibre regenerated from bamboo pulp is correctly called rayon, or viscose. That is what the care label says and that is what we say.

Machine wash warm, tumble dry low. No bleach, no fabric softener: softener coats the fibre and stops it wicking.
